Equinix Opens First South African Data Center in Johannesburg

Located in Germiston, Johannesburg, the new JN1 facility represents a US$160 million data center investment and marks Equinix's entry into the South African market and expands its already substantial global network of colocation data centers.

Designed to enhance digital infrastructure and connectivity in Southern Africa, JN1 provides businesses across sectors access to advanced cloud services and colocation solutions from a central Johannesburg location.
