Study: 46% Increase in Number of DDoS Attacks in First Half of 2024

📅 August 14, 2024 - Gcore, worldwide supplier of cloud, network,cybersecurity, edge AI, and CDN services, has released the results of its Q1-Q2 2024 Gcore Radar study on DDoS attack patterns. Even while the research shows a 46% rise in DDoS attacks over the same time in 2023, the peak attack power measurements in terabits per second are similarly concerning, according to Gcore.

With the transition to terabits starting in the second part of last year, this would represent a notable increase from gigabits per second a year ago.
