Following the increases, deluxe plans offer 100GB of storage and 1,000GB of data transfer starting at $5.59 per month. Premium plans now provide 200GB of storage and 2,000GB og data transfer starting at $11.99 per month.
"Quality products and low prices are keys to our success at Go Daddy, always have been," says says Bob Parsons, CEO of The Go Daddy Group. "But the icing on the cake is our 24-hour customer support. For Web hosting, that level of support is vital. We are always looking for ways to provide better value and service for our customers."
The hosting plans are available on either Windows or Linux operating systems, says the company, to support the needs of developers working on both platforms. They also include features like forums, blogs and photo galleries.
On Wednesday, Netcraft's monthly Web Server Survey reported that big increases in disk space and transfer allowances had generated big gains at Go Daddy and competitor 1&1 Internet.
