PCCW’s Console Connect Now Live in All Global Switch Data Centers Worldwide

Jul 16, 2018 - Global Switch Starts Construction of New €115M Data Center in Frankfurt, Germany - Global Switch, owner, operator, and developer of large-scale, carrier and cloud neutral, multi-customer data centers in Europe and Asia-Pacific, has announced that construction has started on its second data center in Frankfurt. The new €115m data center, Frankfurt North, immediately adjacent to the existing Frankfurt South data center, will provide around 11,000 square meters of gross space with 14MVA of utility power.

Global Switch 2 is Europe's largest purpose-built carrier neutral data center. ControlCircle, whose services include data storage, dedicated hosting and managed services, has taken every measure to ensure that security within the suite is impenetrable from attack, according to the company's announcement last week. Sep 26, 2001 - BJK Buys Colo.com's IDCs - BJK Investments has finalized its purchase of 22 Internet Data Centers formerly operated by the bankrupt Colo.com. The transaction, which was approved by a San Francisco bankruptcy judge earlier this month, closed on Sept. 21. BJK, an investment firm with ties to Global Switch (globalswitch.com), was the high bidder in an auction for the assets of Colo.com, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy May 8.
