Quantum Acquires Western Digital’s ActiveScale Object Storage Business

📅 February 6, 2020 - Quantum has entered into an agreement with Western Digital to acquire its ActiveScale object storage business. The addition of the ActiveScale product line enables Quantum to expand in the object storage market. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
