Raritan Unveils SmartSensors for Accurate Insights on Data Center Environmental Health

📅 January 25, 2019 - Raritan, a brand of Legrand – global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures with reported sales of $6.2 billion in 2017, has introduced new monitoring sensors to provide data center operators an accurate picture of environments at the rack, aisle, and facility level, and of potential risks.

Raritan provides intelligent rack PDUs, KVM switches, and other data center infrastructure monitoring and management solutions. The company's new SmartSensors can monitor a cabinet's temperature, humidity, airflow, and air pressure – as well as detect water leaks, vibrations, and unauthorized openings of cabinet doors.
