📅 - Flexera (flexera.com), a company delivering software licensing, compliance and installation solutions for application producers and enterprises, has bought cloud management solutions provider RightScale. This would mean a big leap forward for Flexera in helping solve the issue of cloud services overspend and control. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Founded in 2007, RightScale's offerings are built as multi-cloud, vendor agnostic solutions that support leading public and private clouds – including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, IBM Cloud, OpenStack and VMware vSphere.
