MSP Claranet Buys Network Penetration Testing Company, NotSoSecure

📅 July 6, 2018 - Claranet (claranet.co.uk), a global provider of managed IT services (MSP), has acquired NotSoSecure (notsosecure.com) for an undisclosed sum of money. NotSoSecure specializes in ethical hacking training and penetration testing for networks, web and mobile applications.

This latest move follows the acquisition last year of UK-based security firm, SEC-1, and the opening of a new Claranet Security Operations Center in Portugal. These additions, combined with existing security capabilities in other Claranet countries, would demonstrate the significant investment Claranet is putting into the development of a security services capability on a worldwide scale.
