Microsoft Unveils Its Own Global Content Delivery Network, #Azure CDN

📅 May 21, 2018 - Microsoft has announced the launch of Azure CDN (azure.microsoft.com ) (public preview status), enabling Azure customers to use and deliver content from Microsoft's own global CDN network. This new CDN option has been added alongside existing Microsoft CDN options from Microsoft partners Verizon and Akamai.

The new global CDN being launched, Azure CDN (azure.microsoft.com ) from Microsoft, provides access to 54 global Edge Points-of-Presence (PoPs) in 33 countries and 16 Regional Cache PoPs at strategic network hubs across Microsoft's anycast network.
