📅 November 13, 2006 - IT network security company Alert Logic (alertlogic.com) announced on Monday that Rackspace Managed Hosting (rackspace.com ) has fully integrated Alert Logic's Network Protection On Demand service into its portfolio of security services.

In conjunction with Rackspace's fully managed hosting solutions, Alert Logic will power Rackspace's intrusion defense, compliance management and 24-hour network threat monitoring offerings.

The Rackspace and Alert Logic partnership provides customers with IT security and compliance through a fully integrated and hosted solution. The Alert Logic solution will be offered to Rackspace's customers as a combined offering within the company's security portfolio.

"We examined available products and services and found Alert Logic provides an outstanding combination of these requirements," says Lew Moorman, senior VP of corporate strategy and product development. "Additionally, no new service offering is added to our portfolio without going through a rigorous evaluation process and meeting our fanatical expectations for customer service. Alert Logic met both of those requirements, and is a real value-add for us."
