Feb, 2017 : More than 1,000 Sites Compromised by Cloudflare Bug


📅 - A security hole was found in the HTML parser used by Cloudflare, which was injecting extra code instead of just parsing HTML. Sometimes, the data injected was HTTP cookies, passwords, authentication tokens or other sensitive information. It leaked private information making is a very serious issue.

Nearly any site using Cloudflare's proxy service could have been impacted, which is rather broad. It was a very quickly mitigated attack and done within about seven hours.
