📅 - Domain registrar Nicline (nicline.com -> webempresa.com) announced on Wednesday that it has begun offering .info domain names at a promotional price of 99 cents per year.
Nicline says it is reducing the price of first year new registrations of .info domain names to a minimum price of 99 cents for one year. After the first year, the annual cost of renewal will return to Nicline's standard price starting from $6.39. Additionally, Nicline is giving away two free months of its registry service, a professional tool for domain name registration and management.
"With more than 56 million active .com domains, it has become more and more difficult to find a valuable domain name under this extension and users are directing their attention to alternative new generic top-level domains like .info," says Frédérique Brunon, deputy manager at Nicline. "We would like to provide our clients with the opportunity to discover the great potential of .info domain names and at the same time, allowing them to reap greater profit margins and better incomes."
Nicline says there is no limit to the number of .info domain names one can register. This special .info promo price is available to all resellers until December 31.
