Aug, 2016 : Rackspace Stock Climbs After Sales Talks Reported
📅 - Rackspace stocks rose 16.91 percent to $31.03 overnight. Reports from the Wall Street Journal indicate that the San Antonio based cloud company could be closing a deal this week with one or more private equity firms. The company has been valued at $4 billion, in a recent report.
Rackspace recently added support and managed services for some of the popular clouds, including Amazon Web Services, to it's portfolio.

The data center caters to about 575 companies providing network services and cloud services. The deal is worth about $210 million and also included some of the operations from Digital Realty in Paris.
Equinix is based out of Redwood City, California and offers internet services including cloud and enterprise solutions. Digital Realty is headquartered in San Francisco, California and provides colocation and client-driven data center solutions.
