Microsoft Wins Legal Battle on Validity of Irish Search Warrant
📅 - Microsoft recently won the legal battle for user privacy surrounding an Irish search warrant criminal investigation. Microsoft was ordered to surrender email contents as part of a criminal investigation in December 2013, and the company has been fighting the warrant in the time since.
An appeals court ruled the search warrant invalid on Thursday.
