📅 - The data business might appear to be in decline due to recent reports that colocation firms are building fewer data centers. The number has been declining over the past year. However, the general size and capacity of data centers has been steadily increasing, accounting for the decline in sheer numbers alone.
Whether or not the boom will continue is uncertain, but for now, cloud providers and data centers are both benefitting immensely from the increased demand for capacity and storage.
