May 9, 2016 : Millions of Users Have Webmail Hacked

📅 - A hacker recently tried to sell millions of stolen email credentials to a company called Hold Security for less than $1. The firm stated that the “id from a small town in Russia” collected about 272 million stolen credentials and was trying to sell them to Hold Security recently. They also stated that 42.5 million of the credentials they had never seen before, which may mean they came from unreported breaches.
