📅 - FireEye, a cybersecurity provider, recently announced they have acquired iSIGHT. The deal cost FireEye $200 million and they bought the company to help add subscription models with specific services.
The deal was closed on January 14, 2016. It's expected to bring immediate value to the existing FireEye customer base from the intelligence network of iSIGHT.
This acquisition builds on other acquisitions made by FireEye, such as the buyout of Mandiant, which cost the company $1 billion. .
