Cisco Reports 92% of Internet Devices Run Known Vulnerabilities
📅 - Cisco's 2016 annual security report was released on Tuesday. It highlighted areas of concern about infrastructure, DNS experts and security teams, and SMBs in the enterprise supply chain. Perhaps most troubling was the finding that 92% of internet devices are currently running known security vulnerabilities.
A full 31% of internet devices are not supported or maintained by the vendor. From 2014-2015, the number of organizations that believe their security infrastructure is up-to-date decreased by 10%.
