📅 - Switch, a colocation service provider, recently announced all the SUPERNAP data centers they own will now be powered by 100% renewable energy. The company has more than 1,000 clients using colocation services at their Las Vegas facilities.
New solar facilities operating in Nevada will provide the renewable energy for the data centers. The company actually constructed Switch Station 1 and Switch Station 2 with a partnership with NV Energy to make this move. .
