However, they also have decided to store the recovery keys on their cloud, which may provide a backdoor for hackers or government agencies to get a hold of these recovery keys.
The Intercept provided a report stating that users of Windows 10 Home Edition had a copy of their recovery key uploaded to the Microsoft servers when they use a Microsoft account to log in. .
