Dec, 2015 : “Right to be Forgotten” Requests Overwhelming Google

📅 - Google, the search giant of the internet, admits to being bogged down by an overwhelming amount of “Right to be Forgotten” requests being made by people. These requests were passed by the European Union Court of Justice last year after being deemed a human right.

All search engines must obey after the ruling was made and it allows individuals to remove links to content that might include information on themselves.

Google received over 300,000 requests in which people wanted links removed with content that was deemed irrelevant, inadequate, or no longer relevant.
