📅 December 1, 2015 - Researchers from Montreal, Canada's PshychTests have been studying the differences between Extroverts, Introverts, and Ambiverts to study which is best for companies. Their studies are showing that companies are actually benefiting from hiring a mix of all three compared to just solely ambiverts.

The surprising results prove that ‘everything in moderation” is the winner in this part of business because the social orientation of each type of personality can benefit companies in different ways. While extroverts enjoy social engagement, introverts enjoy deep thinking alone, and ambiverts enjoy the best of both worlds, it turns out introverts and extroverts actually have an edge over ambiverts.

Introverts outperform ambiverts on the need for people's approval, better attention to details, and better at decision-making, while extroverts outperform ambiverts by enjoying a busy work day more, displaying patience in frustrating situations, higher confidence in decision-making, and being seen as more approachable.

Plus, while companies thought ambiverts were the wise choice, the two other types outperform ambiverts by achieving more goals, feeling more satisfaction with their jobs, and being good at regulating their emotions.
