More than One-Fourth of Brits Wish Social Media Didn’t Exist

📅 October 27, 2015 - A recent survey revealed that 26% of Brits wish social media had never been invented. However, the same survey showed that 10% of Brits admit they cannot live without social media.

Apadmi, a mobile app developer surveyed 1,124 people about what they wish had never been invented. Social media was near the top of the list with 26% of the vote. However, selfie sticks topped the list with 46%, while speed cameras came in second with more than 38% of the vote.

Other items taking a large percentage of the vote include freemium games with 26% and smart watches with 15%.

The same survey also revealed that 42% of Brits said they cannot live without tablets and mobile phones. Even 28% said they couldn't live without Google.
