Dec, 2014 : Microsoft To Unveil Windows 10 January 21


📅 - Microsoft has finally announced that it will unveil the next Windows operating system at a special event at its offices in Redmond on January 21st.

In a blog post published yesterday, Microsoft Senior Marketing Communication Manager Brandon LeBlanc revealed that CEO Satya Nadella will be discussing Windows 10 alongside Terry Myerson, Joe Belfiore, and Xbox Head Phil Spencer.

Windows 10 will include many new features such as the infamous Start menu, Snap Assist, Task View, Continuum, and improvements to its digital voice assistant Cortana.

Microsoft's Xbox One console is also rumored to be discussed at the event, where it is speculated the tech giant will reveal a Windows 10 Xbox One dashboard, which is said to sync the console with the new OS that makes it more app friendly.

“We're going to live webcast the event so mark your calendars! As we get closer to the event in January, watch for another blog post from me on where to tune-in and watch the live webcast,” says the tech giant. “As you can imagine, we're pretty stoked to show you what's next for Windows 10!”

Microsoft's Windows 10 event can be seen via livestream on January 21st, 9 a.m Pacific.

Windows 10 is expected to launch sometime in 2015.
