Microsoft Reportedly Hosting Special Windows 10 Technology Preview Next Month
📅 - Next month Microsoft is reportedly hosting a special Windows 10 event where the company will discuss the new features of its upcoming operating system.
During yesterdays Credit Suisse Technology Conference, Microsoft Operating Systems Group chief Terry Myerson discussed the new OS, revealing that the tech giant will “talk about the end-user consumer experiences in the early spring of 2015,” reports ZDNet.
Myerson added that the plan is that Windows 10 will receive developer preview this summer.
Sources familiar with Microsoft's plans revealed that during Januarys Windows 10 Technology Preview, the tech giant will showcase not only the OS features but a preview of Windows 10 mobile SKU, which is said to be compatible with Windows Phone, ARM tablets, and Intel tablets.
Windows 10 will is slated to be released fall 2015, and is rumored to include features such as the addition of the Start menu, a new Task View, Snap Assist, Continum change mode, and multiple improvements to Explorer.
