Google Fiber Now Available To Small Businesses In Kansas City
📅 - Google launched its high-speed Internet service, Google Fiber, to small businesses in certain areas of Kansas City on Tuesday.
According to VentureBeat, small businesses can now sign up for the $100 a month service, which offers MB speeds of up to 1,000, 100 times faster than average speeds of other services.
“I can confirm that the price is $100/month,” said a Google spokesperson to VentureBeat. “We're working on plans to bring Google Fiber to small businesses in more cities, although we don't have specific details to share just yet, we hope to have an update on additional cities soon. For now, we're focused on launching this Early Access program in Kansas City.”
Last month Google announced that Fiber would be making its way to Austin, Texas, revealing that residents would be able to start signing up for the service in December. Other cities that offer the service is Kansas City and Provo.
