Jan 3, 2007 : Host Color Launches New Service

📅 January 3, 2007 - Web hosting provider Host Color (hostcolor.com ) announced it has launched Host Color Servers (hostcolorservers.com -> hostcolor.com), a service that offers pre-configured Linux dedicated servers as well as on-demand services.

Host Color customers can choose Dual Intel Pentium D servers from $249 per month or Xeon based machines, equipped with RAID 5 Mirroring between Hard Drives for $399 per month. The Web host also offers AMD based systems. Customers can also customize their own server systems using the on-demand hosting model.

"Since January 2006 we [have developed] our in-house server management platform," says Alexander Avramov, Host Color's customer care manager. "We use reliable hardware, advanced software technologies, and take our responsibility to power the online businesses of our customers."

The managed servers include the full range of Host Color's hosting software, including WordPress blog, image gallery software, content management systems, phpBB discussion board, shopping cart, phpMyVisits, phpLists and chat.
