Sep, 2014 : Microsoft Announces Windows Event For September 30

📅 September 16, 2014 - Microsoft has officially issued invites to its next Windows media event that is slated for September 30th in San Francisco.

“Join us to hear what's next for Windows and the enterprise,” reads the invite that was sent out yesterday.

According to The Verge, Microsoft's Joe Belfiore and Terry Myerson will be leading the event, which is expected to reveal the new Windows 9 operating system.

Over the past couple of weeks numerous leaks have revealed what features the new OS will include. Many suggest that Microsoft will change the user interface of Windows 9 and add a new start menu, Notification Center, virtual desktop features, and the digital voice assistant Cortana.

Additionally, the tech giant is in the process of adding more changes and improvements to the desktop version, which are said to be pushed out during the Windows Technical Preview after the media event later this month.
