Google Launches Quantum Computing Research Project, “Hardware Initiative”
📅 - Google announced plans for a new project that will build quantum information processors at its artificial intelligence lab.
Researcher John Martinis and his team from the University of California Santa Barbra will be joining the tech giant in the new “hardware initiative” to build these chips based on superconducting electronics, says Google via its Research Blog.
“With an integrated hardware group the Quantum AI team will now be able to implement and test new designs for quantum optimization and inference processors based on recent theoretical insights as well as our learnings from the D-Wave quantum annealing architecture,” said Director of Engineering, Hartmut Neven.
The company noted that they will continue to work with D-Wave scientists to experiment with the “Vesuvius” machine at NASA Ames, which will “be upgraded to a 1000 qubit “Washington” processor.”
Earlier this year Google acquired British artificial intelligence start-up DeepMind Technologies.

This exam targets individuals that have 24-36 months experience in an IT related field, with specific targeting of networking and security personnel.
A manager of an IT sales team might also qualify, but this is more of a technical based certification

This reduces the risk and the cost of website breeches. As a bonus picture passwords are easier and more secure for users than text passwords.

📅 - End User Training Videos for Office 365 and OWA a Must-Have to Avoid Productivity Losses - Gambling is a risky business, yet organizations do it every day when it comes to end user training and support. For instance, those migrating to Office 365 go through the day hoping their user-base will somehow “just figure it out”. That's a short-sighted and costly strategy considering the hours of productivity lost due to confusion or frustration. The smarter approach is to provide effective, readily accessible training before, during and after the migration to increase assimilation and reduce anxiety.
Though pitched as “a new way to work”, Office 365's mixture of desktop and web applications, use of cloud storage, and mobile capabilities make it a tough challenge to understand. Forward-l
