The company says that the new offer is part of its Green Commitment and it aims at helping small organizations take advantage of the fully-featured Unified Communications while reducing their carbon footprint.

It mentions that the First Extensions License program promotes Unified Communications, a greener and more convenient alternative to traditional communication technologies. This new solution saves the day for small companies that haven't switched to Unified Communications due to the costs involved. VoipNow First Extensions License program offers one fully-featured 10-extension license to any organization. The company adds that the price of the license is US $25, which is 12 times less than the regular license price. Only one First Extensions License can be purchased per individual or company.

"The First Extensions License program provides full Unified Communications functionality for a very low cost. The whole idea behind this action is to demonstrate people how software can dramatically improve their communication experience, while reducing power consumption and travel expenses. VoipNow has already been helping many organizations and we have just simplified the process for new comers," said Bogdan Carstoiu, 4PSA's CEO.

4PSA has also adopted the Green Commitment initiative, a set of rules and actions tailored to support the natural environment. "As part of our continuous improvement strategy, we've decided that we can get more actively involved in reducing carbon emissions. While our cloud enabled software saves energy resources, we use the money raised from the First Extensions License program to fund organizations that plant trees and help the ecosystem," Carstoiu added.
