EuroVPS, a provider of virtual private servers, today announced a major upgrade of its entire fleet of European Virtual Private Servers, with enhancements to server hardware, plan specifications, and value-added features. It says that today's upgrades are a result of more than six months' planning and implementation.

The company states that it has upgraded its entire fleet of VPS hardware. All nodes now boast Dual Quad Core Intel Xeon 5520 Nehalem processors, a minimum of 32GB of RAM, and a HP Integrated Lights Out (ILO) card, which enables precise, always-available web-based remote management of servers. Nodes also now utilize an internal, EMC Fiber Channel SAN with fast connectivity via a Qlogic/Brocade architecture, enabling instant scalability for customers and rapid access to large amounts of data. It adds that all VPS plans also include free daily backups and user-initiated Snapshot Full Image Backups.

The company further states that it offers both Windows and Linux VPS plans. Starting at just EUR 39.95 (about USD 48) per month, the VPS-200 plan now offers 512MB of RAM, 20GB of disk space, 2TB of monthly bandwidth, and a choice of Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008. All Windows Virtual Private Servers include Parallels Virtuozzo 4.5, a choice of Parallels Plesk Panel 9.5 or cPanel WHM 11, private DNS servers, full administrative access, and a wide-variety of other hosting tools including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle Express.

It mentions that all VPS plans also include a 99.97% uptime guarantee, a 30-Day money back guarantee, and a commitment to latency of 30ms to most of Europe.
