CSC Appoints Vice President of Technology and Consumer Group

CSC, an information technology services company, today announced that it has appointed Steve Sparling as the Vice President and Global Segment Lead responsible for its clients within the Telecommunications, Media and Entertainment industries. The company says that Sparling will report to Mary Jo Morris, President of CSC's Technology and Consumer Group, and will be charged with leveraging the company's strengths in consulting, systems design and integration, managed hosting and outsourcing, while driving its portfolio of industry solutions.

According to the company, Sparling has been with it for more than 7 years as Partner and Senior Leader for CSC Global Business Solutions, with client and market focus in the communications industry serving its clients at AT&T, British Telecom, Cingular, MCI, GTE, Bell Atlantic, Verizon, Verizon Wireless and Verizon Business. It avers that prior to joining the company, Sparling was a Vice President for Answerthink, where he was instrumental in the startup of the firm and a key executive overseeing substantial revenue and earnings growth over five years. The company adds that Sparling graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
