The Planet, a privately held dedicated hosting company, today announced enhancements to its Partner Plus Program for resellers. Extending its leadership position as a preferred web hosting platform, the company now offers registered reseller partners volume discounts up to 20%, depending on their monthly order value. Additionally, it has created new server bundles optimized for resellers, including key software and upgrade options, at reduced prices. The company states that registered resellers who bill up to $2,500 per month receive 10% discounts on new orders, while those who bill more than $2,500 and up to $5,000 receive 20% discounts. Resellers who bill more than $5,000 are eligible for special bids, it adds.
The company further states that the company has also assembled high-value bundles specifically designed to meet the needs of web hosting resellers. Bundles are built on high-quality Dell servers loaded with either the Intel Xeon 3450 or the Dual Xeon 5520. It avers that included on each server are RAID, cPanel control panels, KVM-over-IP, and 5TB of bandwidth, along with increased RAM and hard drive capacity. The company says that bundles are offered at up to 38% off list pricing, with additional discounts provided for registered resellers.
