Jan, 2010 : Kickfire Joins Rackspace Partner Network

📅 January 21, 2010 - The company enters into the Partner Network with Rackspace to deliver affordable, high-performance analytic appliance hosting and managed services.

Kickfire, Inc., a provider of analytic appliances, yesterday announced that they have entered into the Partner Network with Rackspace Hosting, a web hosting company, to deliver affordable, high-performance analytic appliance hosting and managed services. The company states that by joining the network, it can provide its customers with access to Rackspace's fully managed hosting and Fanatical Support services. The two companies will also participate in joint sales and marketing programs.

It avers that LiveRail is first joint customer. LiveRail delivers technology solutions that enable and enhance the monetization of internet-distributed video. The company says that the company utilizes a MySQL-based data warehouse with data volumes growing in excess of 30 GB per month and is using its high-performance analytic appliance to dramatically improve its query performance and Rackspace to host, service and support the environment.
