GlobalSign, Inc, a Certification Authority andspecialist in SSL Partner Programs, today announced the launch of itsnew Enterprise PKI Lite solution. According to the company, it is ahighly cost effective Software as a Service PKI solution that allowssmall to medium sized enterprises to issue Digital Certificates to asfew as 5 users. Issued Certificates can be used for onlineauthentication, email security and the creation of trusted electronicdocuments, says the company.

The company avers that Enterprise PKI Lite (ePKI Lite) replaces theneed for enterprises to build their own CA, which are costly andtechnically complex combinations of software, hardware andcryptographic key management, or rely on more expensive hosted PKIsolutions from other providers.
