CirtexHosting, a provider of Linux web hosting, today announced that it has deployed several major service upgrades and launched a new company website, marking a key milestone and shift in strategy.

The company states that from today it will offer unmetered bandwidth hosting plans and semi-dedicated hosting plans, available alongside existing shared hosting and reseller hosting plans. It avers that with unmetered bandwidth hosting, customers can host bandwidth-intensive applications and stream multimedia without worrying about exceeding arbitrary caps or facing crippling overage fees. The company further states that unmetered bandwidth hosting plans start at just $15.99 per month and include video scripts hosting feature.

It explains that it will now also offer semi-dedicated hosting, built to accommodate customers hosting CPU-intensive websites or web applications. Starting at $35.99 per month, semi-dedicated accounts are housed on powerful, less-crowded servers that can deliver the level of system resources needed to sustain optimal performance for each individual account. The company claims that unlike virtual private servers, semi-dedicated hosting plans do not require customers to have detailed knowledge of the server environment and offer a more user-friendly administration interface.
