The company states that MessageSolution Email & File Archive Enterprise Suite with SharePoint Archiving is a centrally-managed archiving software solution that allows organizations to consolidate storage resources by storing e-mail, file, and Microsoft SharePoint Server archives on a single server.
It further says that its email archive, file archive, and SharePoint archive solutions can be deployed separately or together in a single management console for a completely centralized enterprise archiving solution. The company avers tMessageSolution Email & File Archive Enterprise Suite with SharePoint Archiving delivers advanced electronic discovery, litigation and audit support features, and data restoration, along with stubbing for storage management.
"MessageSolution Email & File Archive Enterprise Suite with SharePoint Archiving allows organizations to store email, file, and SharePoint archives on one archive server without the need for additional hardware purchases, while competitive archiving vendors still require separate servers for email archives, file archives, and SharePoint archives," said Jeff Liang, Chief Technology Officer at MessageSolution. "Quite often, these vendors also require an additional hardware box to host the database."
MessageSolution's SharePoint archiving module, like the email and file archiving modules, captures candidate files based on policies set by the archive's administrator(s). The archive then creates stubs by linking to the full file content. "Administrators and end-users can search and access any of their archived emails, files, or SharePoint data from a single web-based archive interface," explained Liang. "Uniting the archives on one interface increases workplace productivity by reducing time spent managing and searching multiple archives."
