The company states that the new program combines software in combination with onsite service to automate the process of discovering where sensitive data is located. It avers that the DataGuise Know Your Data program helps organizations pinpoint the location of credit card numbers, social security numbers, addresses, salaries, and other sensitive content stored throughout the enterprise to secure information from unauthorized access.
The company explains that in most organizations, sensitive information is scattered in unprotected databases and file shares across corporate infrastructure.
