Open-Xchange, a provider of business-class open source collaboration software, today announced a deal with NameCheap, a provider of domain name registration and web hosting services, to bring free webmail to NameCheap's customers, which include more than 1 million domains.

The company states that its software integrates e-mail, calendaring, contacts and task management with advanced groupware features such as information management and document sharing. It adds that productivity is enhanced through unique teamwork features, like team view, single-password document sharing, and shared calendars, contacts, tasks and documents.

"NameCheap customers will enjoy the modern webmail appearance and function," said Frank Hoberg, Founder and Executive Vice President of sales, Open-Xchange. "Working together with NameCheap, we are providing their customers with business-class, user-friendly webmail."
