Based in Reading, England, NetHosted "specializes in multiple domain hosting solutions for business clients requiring rapid around the clock support," according to the company. With dedicated servers starting at £125 (about $178), NetHosted also offers a variety of reseller hosting plans starting at £14.95 (a little more than $21).
NetHosted development director Darryl Taylor said the company's new Parallels (www.parallels.com) Virtuozzo Containers-based VPS products bridge the gap between its reseller and dedicated server offerings. "These are targeted at business hosting clients who require the rapid, high quality support we offer, and the cPanel Managed service provides a direct upgrade path from our reseller packages," Taylor said in a statement.
NetHosted is the latest company to announce a new VPS offering. Earlier this month, the UK2 Group (www.uk2group.com) launched a beta trial of VPS.NET (www.vps.net), a redundant cloud system designed to simplify the process of virtual private server cloud hosting, as well as making it available and affordable to customers of all sizes.
