📅 - Client-side search engine tyBit Unified Search (tybit.com) announced on Friday it has released ty-Meeting (tybit.com/tymeeting), a new web-based conferencing platform.
The news comes off the heels of the company's November announcement, when it launched three major initiatives including an ad module, pre-registration of keywords for its global keyword registry and a new "shop" function, and its Partner Module.
The ty-Meeting platform provides a cost-effective solution for companies to communicate with their existing and potential customers, as well as coordinate with their staff at multiple locations.
The platform's features include slide presentations, audio conversations, video demonstrations via webcams, plus private and public chat windows.
"This technology enables co-workers, customers and prospects to view any application running on your computer in real time without downloading any software," says Sean McCoy, VP of marketing at tyBit. ty-Meeting offers instant web-based meetings for sales presentations, training or customer support, archiving, email, scheduling, a built-in whiteboard, and video and audio sharing.
Fully integrated into the tyBit search engine, ad module and social network, ty-Meeting enables advertisers to create links that lead directly to an active meeting from their tyBit ads.
The platform is currently being offered for $9.99 per month, which offers a significant discount when compared to its regular price of $29.99 per month.
The service requires no software downloads or physical media and is compatible with many popular operating systems and Internet browsers.
tyBit is a member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau, an industry trade association that works towards maintaining the highest standards in online advertising.
Officially launched last year, tyBit grew from 30 million searches per month to a rate of more than 70 million per month going into 2009.
