📅 - Software provider StrataScale has announced its new IronScale product (ironscale.com) is the first fully-automated managed server hosting environment in the world, offering automated provisioning and management of servers, security, storage and networks.
According to a Wednesday announcement by StrataScale, IronScale's non-virtualized environment allows on-demand access and configuration from an advanced web portal, allowing provisioning to be accomplished in minutes rather than days. While it is currently being tested in beta and inviting companies to apply to join the beta testing effort, StrataScale expects IronScale to be ready for general availability in September.
A subsidiary of colocation and managed server hosting provider RagingWire Enterprise Solutions (ragingwire.com👉 Total Reviews: 1 🙌 Average Rating: 8 / 10 👍 Good Reviews: 1 👎 Bad Reviews: 0 👈 Official Responses: 0 -> ntt.com), StrataScale began work on IronScale design and development work in 2007.
The IronScale automated, on-demand environment is housed in RagingWire's Tier IV data center, giving clients access to RagingWire's experienced management team, strong financial backing, engineering expertise and process maturity.
"The managed server market has lagged in developing and delivering on-demand managed hosting solutions with truly differentiated feature sets. Demand for next generation advancements in non-virtualized physical hosting environments has gone unsatisfied until now with IronScale," RagingWire co-founder and chief executive officer George Macricostas said in a statement. "Provisioning in minutes with an advanced feature set is a reality."
RagingWire president and chief technical officer Yatish Mishra said, "IronScale is a game-changing product. Unique features like snapshots, cloning, instant re-purposing, and automated server failover are a click away with IronScale."
