Mar 31, 2008 : NSDesign Partners with Tree Appeal

nsdesign.co.uk logo📅 - Internet Solutions company NSDesign (nsdesign.co.uk) announced on Monday it has partnered with Tree Appeal (http://www.treeappeal.com) to launch a new 'Green Web Hosting' plan (http://www.nsdesign.co.uk/webhosting/green_hosting), aimed at its environmentally conscious customers.

The new 'Go Green' plan gives customers the option of making a £5.00 contribution which is matched by NSDesign, enabling the planting of one native broad-leaved tree such as oak, beech and ash.

"We've always been highly focussed on enviromentally friendly business practices like choosing to host our Web servers in a carbon neutral data center or recently offsetting our entire carbon footprint, and our Go Green campaign allows our customers to get involved, and help put something back into the environment," says Gary Ennis, managing director of NSDesign.

NSDesign joins the many other environmentally conscious UK companies that have partnered with Tree Appeal, a non-profit organization that plants trees to promote biodiversity, create habitats and improve the environment for people.

Other Tree Appeal corporate partners include The Green Organisation, Sainsbury's, Hosting Systems, Family Investments, PI Consulting, Trend Technology, Greenique and Firstsource.

Glasgow, Scotland-based NSDesign provides Internet solutions for home and business, including Web design, domain registration and Linux, Windows and reseller hosting.

The company is just one of the many Web hosts that have recently announced green hosting initiatives, which includes Hosting.com's updating its San Francisco, California data center to become climate neutral and Carpathia Hosting completing its 'Green Machine' program.
