Feb 29, 2008 : Amen to Sell Comodo SSL Certificates

📅 February 29, 2008 - IT security solutions provider Comodo (comodo.com) announced on Friday that it has signed a multi-year deal enabling French Web hosting provider Amen (amen.fr ) to offer Comodo's line of public key infrastructure based SSL certificates.

Comodo's line of SSL certificates is designed for online businesses to provide users with a trusted online experience where they can verify the website's security and identity. Amen e-merchants will now be able to offer their customers' websites identity assurance which promotes trust and helps increase online revenue.

Claranet Group (uk.clara.net) subsidiary Amen says it offers e-commerce and hosting services for online merchants, enabling merchants to grow while helping them manage diverse security threats.

"Amen wanted new opportunities to provide our customers with ways to enhance the security of their business," says Eric Sansonny, sales and marketing director of Amen. "With Comodo's range of SSL certificates, e-merchants will be assured that they can get the right solution for their business with world class security. These solutions help our e-merchants boost their customers' trust and confidence."

COmodo announced last week it launched a A-VSMART Warranty to give end-users reassurance that any PC protected with the latest version of Comodo Firewall Pro will remain malware-free or a Comodo technical expert will remove it.
