Feb 29, 2008 : 1 and 1 Holds Affiliate Competition

📅 February 29, 2008 - Web hosting provider 1&1 Internet (1and1.com) announced on Friday that it has launched a 20th Anniversary Affiliate Competition.

From March 1 to May 31 all 1&1 affiliates will automatically receive one entry for every 10 commissionable sales for a special prize, which includes a seven-day all-expenses paid trip for two to Montego Bay, Jamaica. Other prizes include a widescreen HDTV, notebook computer, iPhone and digital cameras.

1&1 says that it is holding this contest after the success of last year's affiliate contest, which awarded trips to Valencia, Spain for the America's Cup race. This year's competition requires that affiliates promote 1&1 through affiliate links and banners during March, April and May.

The 1&1 20th Anniversary Affiliate Competition is open to both new and existing 1&1 affiliates and some terms and conditions apply.

Earlier this month, 1&1 released the results of its "Website Communications Survey," conducted by MaCorr Research.
