The first promotion doubles the bandwidth on new server orders at no extra charge, as well as waives the $25 setup fee. The deal runs through February 24, or while limited promotional supplies last.
The second promotion offers a $50 discount on select Kentsfield servers until March 2, or while limited quantities last. The servers, which start at $209 per month, are available in the company's six world-class data centers. The Kentsfield 3210 Series-SATA include 2048MB RAM, 250GB hard drive, 2500GB of bandwidth and an Intel Xeon 3210 Quad Core processor.
"With this promotion, we're offering the latest generation of quad-core technology at prices that are competitive with dual-core configurations," says Urvish Vashi, director of product management with The Planet. "Customers can benefit from monthly savings on a powerful, top-of-the-line server to meet their complex hosting requirements."
The Planet announced last week it doubled the hard drive disk space on select new server orders.
