📅 December 14, 2007 - Malaysia-based Web hosting provider Exabytes Network (exabytes.com.my) announced on Thursday that it has launched a new plan targeting students.

Xtudent Hosting Plan comes with a free domain for each signup and supports the latest releases of PHP 5, Perl, CGI, Ruby on Rail and Apache 2.2.6. The hosting plan also comes along with Fantastico Deluxe, which consists of a collection of pre-installed scripts for blogs, photo albums and content management systems. Xtudent Hosting Plan is available for approximately $29.82 per year.

"With this special hosting plan, we hope that we can contribute to the improvement of Internet usage universally and perception of Web hosting among youth nowadays," says Chan Kee Siak, CEO of Exabytes.
