modVPS hosting accounts start at $44.50 a month and include at least 512MB of RAM with complete management. Plans also include virtualization software Virtuozzo, cPanel, the ability to host an unlimited number of domain names, mySQL databases and email accounts.
"Hosting Zoom has a widely known reputation for providing a truly consummate hosting experience, and we have carried this tradition of excellence through to our modVPS subsidiary," says Kiet Duong, Hosting Zoom founder and CEO. "ModVPS was designed to serve as an excellent alternative for users who have outgrown traditional shared hosting environments?our hosting plans are configured with this in mind."
ModVPS is currently targeting independent Web masters, developers, and small to medium sized businesses. The company says its focus is on service reliability, and that its servers are fully managed and watched via around the clock proactive monitoring.
