Jordan Gross, formerly commercial director at Ultraspeed UK takes on the role of managing director of the new Ultraspeed Group with former Hostroute managing director Gordon Hudson, who is also joining the new board and taking on the role of marketing director. Both the Ultraspeed and Hostroute brands will continue to co-exist. Formed in 1998, Shoreditch, London-based Ultraspeed UK provides premium, dedicated managed hosting solutions to a mix of corporate and local government clients. Edinburgh headquartered Hostroute was established in 2001 and provides cost-effective shared hosting targeted at personal users and small businesses. The combined group will offer a 'one stop shop' for private users and businesses of all sizes, enabling customers to choose any level of support - from basic shared hosting services to the next generation dedicated hosting solutions currently deployed by Ultraspeed's enterprise and government clients, says the company.  "The merger made tremendous sense for both companies," says Jordan Gross, managing director of Ultraspeed Group. "Ultraspeed has traditionally focused on the higher end of the market for larger organizations seeking very fast, ultra reliable dedicated, premium hosting solutions whereas Hostroute has concentrated on the more value-end of the market where speed and large storage space are less important.
