📅 - Trellix Corp. (trellix.com), a leading provider of Web site publishing technology and hosting services, introduced the latest version of the Trellix Hosting Platform on Thursday.
The company says the new platform includes an enhanced set of managed hosting services and infrastructure innovation, giving Trellix's partners increased flexibility and reducing costs.
Along with the new services, Trellix also announced that it had appointed Dave Owczarek as vice president of operations. Owczarek will lead the company's growing managed hosting services business.
Trellix says that technology innovations in customization, integration, bandwidth and abuse management have enabled the company to be a leading provider of low-cost managed Web site hosting services. The company says its new hosting services coincide with a report by IDC that indicates that Web sites are the fastest growing segment of the small business provider market. IDC says that in less than two years, there will be 15 million small business Web sites, and that Web site services will be a $9 billion market.
Trellix says that over the past two years, its Web hosting business has grown substantially, despite declines in the Internet services market. The company has worked with Web leaders like About, CNET, McGraw-Hill, Namezero and ZDNet.
"Working hand in hand with industry leading partners has helped us perfect low-cost managed application hosting," says Don Bulens, CEO of Trellix. "Through advancements in technology and our superior architectural design, our partners get a high quality offering with significant economy of scale services that they would not otherwise be able to provide or afford."
